BarCamp Nashville is organized each year by a group of talented, dedicated people who want to create the best unconference possible. Whether you’re interested in the pre-event planning or day-of assistance, there’s a place for you to help!
Join the Crew
People from all aspects of the greater Nashville area tech community come together for a few weeks to get the organizing done. But it does take a large group. Joining this group provides you the opportunity to connect with the community, to make new friends and to learn new skills or hone current ones.
The BarCamp Nashville 2016 crew meets at 6:30 p.m. Mondays at the new Nashville Software School campus, located at 500 Interstate Blvd S, Suite 300, in the Woodbine area of Nashville (just off of Nolensville Pike). Contact Jessawynne Parker, our BCN chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information regarding the meeting schedule and/or how you can help.
Help at the Event
On the day of the event, we have a huge number of volunteer opportunities. Roles big and small are available and waiting just for you. So don’t be shy!
We will need people to help us with:
- Setting up chairs and tables
- Handing out swag bags and t-shirts
- Handing out lanyards
- On-site registration
- Directing people to the different rooms
If you’d like to get involved, please contact Tina Wisneski, our volunteer coordinator, at email@example.com.
